System Overview

The reporting system allows users to submit reports about various incidents or issues. Reports can be tracked, managed, and resolved through a comprehensive dashboard.

Report Submission

Users can submit reports through the public reporting interface. Each report requires:

  • Report type selection
  • Location details
  • Incident description
  • Optional contact information (name, email, phone)
  • Optional media uploads (images or videos)

Report Management

Administrators can manage reports through the dashboard interface:

Dashboard View

The main dashboard provides a filterable overview of all reports, allowing you to:

  • View all reports or only those that are not resolved
  • Filter reports by type or location
  • Sort by status or creation date
  • Click on any report to view details

Detailed Report View

Clicking on a report opens a detailed view where administrators can:

  • View all report details including contact information
  • Access attached media files
  • Change the report status (New, Pending, Resolved)
  • Add notes to document actions taken
  • Review previous notes from team members

Privacy & Security

The reporting system is designed with privacy and security in mind:

  • Anonymous Reporting: Users can submit reports without providing personal information
